What would it cost to varnish and assemble a Loom?
Over 100 pieces of wood and what seems like thousands of needles, screws, nuts and bolts go into the construction of a loom. The loom arrives unfinished and requires several coats of varnish prior to assembly.
It would be impossible to varnish and assemble a loom in one day. This one was done over the course of three visits. Two visits were for varnish and the last for assembly.
Experience with loom assembly is a plus! The instructions are not always clear and it helps to have some knowledge of looms.
